HOW TRACKBAR WORKS

Step 1

Raise the equipment to where tracks can rotate freely without friction being caused by contact with the ground.

Step 2

Loosen the tensioner nut/bolt on the track cylinder assembly to release grease and relieve tension from the track.

Step 3

Apply each bar individually over the track tread, spacing the bars on adjacent treads of every other tooth on the track.

Step 4

Clear hands and body parts from the track assembly area. Rotate the track clockwise / counter-clockwise towards whichever idler you wish to remove/reinstall the track on.

Step 5

Once all three bars are on the idler, check to ensure that the track teeth are all dislodged and clear from the idler

Step 6

Insert the pry bar in the necessary locations to apply leverage inward/outward to reinstall or remove the track. If a pry bar is not on site, a sledgehammer or similar prying tool can be used.

Step 7

Once the track teeth are aligned on the proper location on the idler, rotate the track in the required direction, allowing the teeth to fall into place.

Step 8

If the track is still dislodged from the other idler, leave the trackbars in place and rotate the track in the necessary direction. Apply the steps above to achieve the same results.

Step 9

Once the track is successfully reinstalled/removed, safely remove trackbars from the track. Tighten the tensioner nut/bolt, apply a proper amount of grease to tighten the track, lower the equipment, and proceed with normal operation.

FAQS

Will Trackbars fit all skid steer models?

The Trackbar System will fit any CTL model that is currently available on the market, regardless if it is a CAT, Kubota, John Deere, Bobcat, Takeuchi, or any other model.

Does the size of my track matter?

The Trackbar System is universal for any CTL track. It should fit all tread patterns, as well as accommodate any track width.

Are there any plans to make other sizes that work on other machinery?

We are currently in the R&D phase of a smaller size system that will accommodate mini skid steers, Ditch Witches, and other smaller rubber-tracked machinery. We are hoping to make this available early in 2027.
